Each year our members nominate charities and we host fund raising events.
STAND
Started by one of our member's son (Tom) in 2014, it's original function was intercepting prosthetic limbs,
that an EU directive had decreed had to go to landfill, and sending them over to Africa where there is an acute shortage of prosthetics, and has, because of that, to date got thousands of African
amputees literally back on their feet. The charity is still run by Tom, but along side the recycling of the prosthetics, they offer education, training and community support to amputees and
